Yuzheng Xie

Chairman

Yuzheng is the founder of the Gold Valley Group and a mining executive with +20 years experience in iron ore, manganese, copper & gold projects. He has a long track record of sourcing project finance, mergers and acquisitions and sales and marketing.

Scott Meacock

Chief Executive Officer and General Counsel

Scott brings a wealth of experience to his role derived from working on complex corporate and commercial law transactions and disputes across the resources sector in national and international law firms. Scott holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree and a Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) degree from the University of Western Australia.

Chris Jordaan

Chief Executive Officer of Pilbara Resources Group

Mr Jordaan was appointed to the role of Chief Executive Officer of Pilbara Resources Group on 10 November 2025. He has more than 30 years of global mining experience, having worked in various operational and corporate leadership across the petrochemical, processing, and mining sectors in Australia, South Africa, Papua New Guinea and South Korea.
Chris has held several senior executive positions, including Chief Executive Officer for Superior Gold and International Ferrometals and Chief Operating Officer for Australian Strategic Materials. During his tenure at Newcrest Mining, starting in 2016, he was appointed in various roles including Chief Performance Officer, Programme Director, and General Manager.
Mr Jordaan also led high-level engagement with governments, communities and First Nations groups across PNG, South Africa, South Korea and Australia
Beyond his executive roles, Mr Jordaan served as director on the Boards of Korean Strategic Materials Metals and Korean Strategic Materials Technology. Previously he also served on the Boards of various JV’s between Samancor Chrome and POSCO, Sinosteel and Nippon Steel Corporation.

Aric Song

General Manager – Sales, Marketing and Logistics

Aric brings more than 15 years’ experience with bulk resources products including iron ore, manganese and vanadium. He specialises in resources sales, export and vessel chartering.

Aric has an in-depth understanding of shipping, the stainless-steel industry, Chinese blast furnaces and electrical furnaces. He is also across the Australian financial accounting system, taxation and auditing regulations.
