GOLD VALLEY PILBARA SECURES STRATEGIC INVESTMENT IN ANAX METALS (ASX: ANX) TO CREATE UNIFIED PILBARA DEVELOPMENT HUB
PERTH, 08 DECEMBER 2025 – Gold Valley Pilbara Pty Ltd (Gold Valley), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Gold Valley Group, is pleased to announce it has completed a significant strategic placement in Anax Metals Limited (ASX: ANX) (“Anax”).
This investment strengthens Gold Valley’s position in the Pilbara region and forms a long-term development partnership focused on copper production and shared infrastructure.
Key Highlights of the Investment & Strategic Partnership:
• Strategic Investment: Gold Valley has completed a $2.4 million strategic placement in Anax Metals.
• Significant Shareholding: The placement was executed at an issue price of $0.011 per share, which represents a 37.5% premium to Anax’s last traded price. Upon completion, Gold Valley will hold approximately 19.9% of Anax’s issued capital.
• Unified Development Hub: The investment is a strategic move to create a unified development hub by aligning Gold Valley’s recently secured Balla Balla VTM Project with Anax’s permitted Whim Creek Project.
• Right of First Refusal (ROFR): Gold Valley has been granted a ROFR to negotiate and enter agreements to build, own, and operate the proposed Whim Creek Mine accommodation camp.
To execute this strategy, Gold Valley has entered into a 40/60 operating partnership with Deep source holding Ltd (a Hong Kong-listed company). This will ensure shared non-processing infrastructure is fully funded, allowing for a reduction in capital costs across both the Balla Balla VTM Project and Whim Creek assets and a fast-tracked development timeline.
Yuzheng Xie, Chairman of Gold Valley, commented:
“With the permitted Whim Creek Project located in close proximity to our recently secured Balla Balla VTM Project, this strategic investment in Anax Metals creates a unified development hub. Our vision is to leverage technology and innovation to deliver long-term value in the green metals space. The partnership with Anax, coupled with our 40/60 operating partnership with Deep Source Holdings, provides the capital depth and shared infrastructure strategy to minimise environmental footprint while maximising capital efficiency for both assets.
